Where the impossible takes off

Indie boardgame studio based in Denmark & US

Feather Mind Tricks was founded in early 2022 by two cousins Rene & Henrik. A couple of passionate Danish guys who love tabletop board games and miniatures.

Henrik, Co-creator

Henrik is a software developer based in Denmark, he has been collecting Warhammer miniatures for more than 20+ years and has played multiple D&D campaigns over the years.

Rene, Co-creator

Rene has a law degree in both Denmark and the US, and has passed the NY bar exam. He is currently not working on the project, but will join at a later date. He has run hundreds of sessions as a DM hosting many D&D groups.

Jacob, Artist

Jacob is a fantastic artist and is behind all of the artwork in our first release “Crit Cards”. He is based in the US and is an avid student and admirer of all the artwork in the D&D universe.

Tina Sunara, Marketing Assistant

Tina is originally from Croatia, but she is studying marketing in Denmark. She is new to the RPG tabletop and boardgame scene and she thinks we are all nerds, however, we are certain that she will see the light at some point 🙂

When we were kids

The best memories we have from when we were kids are the ones we made playing various board and miniatures games.

We make games for us, all of us

Sure it’s fun to make games for everyone to enjoy, but at our core, we believe in creating games we would want to play ourselves.

Rember the kid in you.

Games are meant to be fun and captivating. As part of our brainstorming process for new game ideas, we consult with an imaginary 10-year-old version of ourselves. If he doesn’t want it, neither will you.

Make people feel something

Hero Quest is one of the games that have made the biggest impression on us. As 80’s kids, it was the ultimate experience. It came with miniatures, a board like a board game; it had RPG elements built into the game mechanics and a compelling story. We use great games through time to benchmark the gaming experience of our games.

Explore your imagination

One of the most importat, if not the most important attribute a game needs is superb visuals. Art that sucks you into the world of the game you are immercing yourself into. We take great care to create the most beautiful art.
